Bases for the Football World Cup Competition Eureka 2014.
1. The organising Company
The EUREKA Academy, School of Spanish Language (henceforth “EUREKA”), located in C/Arenal 26, 3ºD, 28013 Madrid, NIF E-78628690, organises a competition on the occasion of the Football World Cup Brazil 2014 (henceforth “World Cup”) through the social networks and EUREKA’s web pages.
2. Competition
2.1- Every participant will make one single bet indicating who he thinks will be the World Cup Champion.
2.2- The person to guess correctly the winning team of the World Cup 2014 will win this competition.
2.3- If more than one person succeeds to guess the winning team, EUREKA will make a draw to nominate the winner.
2.4- The prize is going to be a 20 hour Spanish Intensive Course for two weeks, from 09:00 to 11:00 and from 11:30 to 13:00, with a maximum of 8 students per group valued at 375 € (see below point 4: Prize).
2.5- The competition starts on the 12 of June 2014 00:00 (Spanish time) and finishes on the 27 of June 00:00 (Spanish time). All the bets received outside these dates will be considered invalid.
2.6- EUREKA will announce the winning person’s name within 15 days after the World Cup’s final celebration, set for the 13 of July 2014. Consequently, the deadline for the announcement will be the 28 of July 2014. The winner will be announced on EUREKA’s web page www.eurekamadrid.com, in the social networks and he or she will also be contacted by electronic mail.
2.7- Everyone being 18 years of age (reached at the moment of celebrating the competition) is allowed to participate in the competition from any nationality, from any part of the world.
2.8- Every person can only participate once in the competition. Should EUREKA suspect someone to be using various identities or committing any other fraudulent action, EUREKA is in its right to veto that person’s participation.
2.9- Every participant will bet only for one football team as the winner of the Football World Cup Brazil 2014. Once sent the bet to EUREKA, it can’t be modified.
2.10- The prize is transferable. This means that the winner can give the prize to another person of his choice, provided this happens under mutual agreement. (Example: A father/mother gives the course to his or her son/daughter, or a Spanish speaking person gives the course to someone who is studying or doesn’t speak Spanish. To benefit from the prize the essential requirement is to be at least 16 years of age.
3. Participation
3.1- Though EUREKA’s web page www.eurekamadrid.com, clicking on the respective banner for the competition and fill out the attached form.
3.2- Through EUREKA’s Facebook page and sending a private message to EUREKA with the respective bet and the required personal data (see point 3.4 in this same section). It’s a mandatory to like the EUREKA Facebook page (not being valid to like only the publication).
3.3- Through the order form at www.eurekamadrid.com
3.4- Every participant, whatever way used to participate, must ensure to provide EUREKA with the following information to make the participation effective:

3.5- Once received the bets of all the competitors, EUREKA will confirm the reception and therefore the participation in the competition for each competitor. EUREKA will consider a candidacy with incomplete data as invalid.
3.6- EUREKA reserves the right to remove and expel automatically every participant suspected of misuse fraud or abuse of the competition, cancelling his or her participation. Any non-compliance of any of the here included conditions will be considered misuse.

4. Prize
4.1- The prize offered by EUREKA (henceforth, ‘prize’) consists in two weeks of Intensive Course , 20 hours per week, from 09:00 to 11:00 and from 11:30 to 13:00, from Monday to Friday, valued at 375 € (fees 2014), with a maximum of 8 students per group.
4.2- The prize only includes the two weeks of intensive classes, excluding accommodation, diets, cultural activities, transport from and to Madrid or the school, material, insurances, cancellation fees or any other costs apart from the actual course. These costs will be taken charge of by the person or his or her legal guardian.
4.3- The winner can choose freely between the 3 of November 2014 and the 27 of March 2015 to start the course, always taking into account EUREKA’s availability.
4.4- The two weeks of classes can only be taken consecutively. EUREKA won’t be responsible if the person lacks time to take the course in two weeks time.
4.5- If the two weeks chosen by the winner contain any bank holiday, this doesn’t give him or her the right to recover these classes, neither in form of more classes, nor in monetary value, nor any other way of compensation.
4.6- The classes always start on Monday and finish on Friday. No other date will be permitted for the start/ end of the course.
4.7- The winner of the prize will take a Spanish level test before starting the classes. EUREKA retains the right to place the person in the course that best adapts to his or her Spanish knowledge.
4.8- If the winner studies at EUREKA for the first time, he or she will have to pay the inscription costs (40 €). This payment only has to be realised for the first inscription at EUREKA. If the winner is a former student of EUREKA, he or she will be exempt from the inscription costs.
4.9- Once received the prize, the winning person will have to sign an acceptance letter sent by EUREKA.
4.10- The winner has the right to reject the prize, but in no case it can be redeemed for another nor for an equivalent sum of money.
4.11- If the person to do this course is between 16 and 18 years of age, consent of the parents, tutors or legal guardians will be necessary.
4.12- In case of rejecting the prize, EUREKA retains the right to redraw a winner.
Excluded from the present competition:
A prerequisite for participation is the acceptance of the present base, as well as the acceptance of EUREKA’s criterion for the resolution of any upcoming questions concerning this competition. The claim period concerning the results will end 15 calendar days after the announcement of the winner.
In case of non- compliance with the named conditions, EUREKA retains the right to consider this participation as void.
The participation in this competition assumes all the norms before mentioned.
The participants authorise EUREKA (C/Arenal, 26, 3ºD. 28013, Madrid), to include their personal data in a data base and to use it for the management of this promotional contest to contact the winners and send them future communications. For security reasons this data will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the Ley Orgánica 15/1999 de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal (LOPD) and its regulations and in no way it will be transferred or sold. The participants guarantee and respond for the truthfulness, exactitude, validity and authenticity of the submitted data.
The winner of the competition authorises explicitly EUREKA to reproduce and use his or her name and surname, as well as other data in the promotional activities in relation to this competition, without said use conferring to the right of remuneration or any benefit except from the awarding of the actual prize.
The organisation retains the right to change the character or amount of the prize in case EUREKA would require doing so. Likewise, EUREKA retains the right to change, suspend or cancel the competition. Under no circumstance the decision will affect the rights of the awarded participant.
