Spanish courses for adults aged about 50 years
These Spanish courses are designed for seniors or adults aged about 50 years who wish to learn Spanish in an intensive courses and participate in special activities with students with similar age of them. This program offer a greater variety of cultural activities for these students.
Every morning from Monday to Friday, students take Spanish classes. Each level will have different objectives. For students at a basic level, the class will consist of conversational Spanish for daily life situations - for example, ordering something in a bar or restaurant, going shopping, booking a hotel room, or asking for information about a destination. For advanced students the objective will be to expand their knowledge of Spanish culture and life. These students will learn about the civilization, literature, history and art of Spain.
Classes, from 9:00 to 13:00, are held together with the rest of the students. They are not classes exclusively for adults. What differentiates this program from the Intensive Course of 20 lessons is the activities program.
All students at the school can participate in a cultural program consisting of two activities per week. One of them is free and the other is optional (15 €). In addition, students enrolled in the 50+ program have two cultural activities per week (40 €) in which students who are not part of the 50+ program cannot participate. This program offers museum visits, theatrical performances, concerts, etc., as well as leisure activities such as gastronomy classes, wine-tasting courses, theater, concerts, or walks around the city.
On weekends, we will offer excursions to cities near Madrid, such as visits to Toledo, El Escorial, Segovia, etc. The price of the excursions is 80 €. This includes transportation to the city, museum entrance fees, and a guide. Meals are not included.

These courses may be taken for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks, but we recommend enrolling for at least 2 weeks.
Students are included in classes with the rest of the students. Only the program of cultural and leisure activities is different in this program with two activities per week (a visit to a museum and a special activity).
